Teacher Training

ABC123 Learning Center will provide the training for all teachers and teachers’ assistants at each facility.  The teaching staff will utilize the Montessori materials in establishing Montessori lessons along with the ABC123 Learning Center’s philosophy (a standard based educational curriculum) in a classroom setting.  The training will be in addition to the state require college units each teacher must have.

All the teaching staff, as well as, the director will be fully versed on all the Montessori lesson materials prior to the opening of each facility. The Montessori lesson materials will focus on the comprehension level of preschool and Kindergarten students. Each teacher will be responsible to master all of the presentations given on the Montessori material.  This will insure that the teachers are well grounded in what lessons are appropriate for each individual child.

ABC123 Learning Center’s staff members will utilize the SBS (Side by Side) system with DVD demos as part of its in house training workshops and this system will also be used in conferencing between facilities in other states on an ongoing basis.

Our training will consist of the presentation of the Montessori methods in Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, and Language acquisition; additional areas of training will include; History, Geography, and  Science.

ABC123 Learning Center’s teachers will be well versed in both standard and Montessori application methods of teaching, thus insuring that all students perform at their highest optimal level.  More importantly, the teachers will be able to give the children a foundation for life, a love of learning, and a caring spirit that the children will carry with them forever.
