Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is a combination of fun activities and hands-on academic materials in a structured environment.  We include a Montessori base that entails an individualized program where children can progress through the materials at their own pace.  This gives children an opportunity to excel beyond traditional academic levels and also works one on one for those that need extra help. This method utilizes all learning styles such as Auditory, Visual and Manipulative.

There are four basic areas in the classroom.  Practical Life involves basic life lessons that incorporate hand-eye coordination; fine motor control and self help skills. The Sensorial area stimulates the senses by working with colors, shapes, and sizes. The Math manipulative start with the concept of numbers 1 through 10, (recognizing symbols and quantity), and works up to 9,000 and the process of addition.  The Language area is a phonetic based program that introduces the letters and sounds, works up to sounding out words, blends, and vowels, and culminates in fluent reading. In addition to the basic areas, the children also learn about Science, History, Biology, Manners, Creativity, Art and Social Skills.

Our program will lay a solid foundation that children will need to excel in their academic future.
